Daily brands deserve and often demand
the storytelling power of film, video and motion graphics.
Particularly these days with technological advancements placing
high production values within reach of small budgets. And especially
given the seeming multitude of conduits available to quote-unquote
broadcast your brand (corporate, non-profit, personal or otherwise)
via network and cable TV, multiplexes and art houses, and the
quilt of social media on your computer and increasingly
– we think fantastically – your mobile device.
Our team offers a veritable mashup of talents and
interests, and we're doing some really fun and positively impactful
work in four key areas:
Broadcast Promotions | We've recently produced
spots for clients including Warner Bros., FSN, Speed Channel,
FOX Soccer Channel, Burger King, Verizon and others.
Prior to founding DAILY Brand, Colin Mangham wrote and
produced commercial spots for the likes of the New York Yankees,
Acura, Polycom and Howard Johnson. Plus he's both judged
and won Promax/BDA awards. Check
out our sizzle reel here.
Film & TV Development | We're creative
media hounds headquartered in Los Angeles. We're people
looking to do good stuff on a daily basis. Plus we're entrepreneurial
to the Nth. So you can bet we have a number of projects we're
developing, co-producing or otherwise supporting with capital
and/or alliance formation through Daily Brand Ventures. Projects
currently include several feature films and TV shows (reality
and sitcom).
Brand Documentaries | Most corporate videos
come off wooden, heavy-handed and woefully uninspired. One
reason for this is too many
companies and agencies alike still think of B2B communications
in particular as companies talking to companies ... not people
talking to people. We've begun changing that for our client
partners by producing three- to ten-minute business documentaries
that focus not so typically on the nuts and bolts, bullet points
and pie charts, but instead on the people who comprise and
megaphone the brand on a daily basis.
Branded Entertainment | With the advent of
spot-skipping DVRs (yes, we love our TiVo's too), the ever-expanding
universe of surfable channels, and ad budgets shrinking
or otherwise being stretched thinly across a variety
of media, the trend is toward not only sensible product placement
but also clever brand integration right into the DNA of a resonant
storyline. In this arena we've recently woven brands into feature
films at the development stage, concepted branded custom vignettes
and other promos for corporate TV sponsors, and seeded user-generated
content with branded videos we shot specifically for YouTube
and blogs.
